Pitch clear, original stories that help readers notice how a garden works or consider a choice in context. We are interested in explanatory pieces, comparisons, visual observations and well-framed seasonal ideas. Keep the focus specific, useful and accessible to a general reader.

A useful pitch

Tell us the working title, central idea, intended reader and the main points the piece would cover. Explain what makes the angle distinct from familiar garden advice. If a proposal relies on personal experience, specialist knowledge or particular local conditions, say so plainly.
